And the sleepless nights begin...

It was 3 nights until DisneyWorld last night and Nick was starting the "I Can't fall asleep I am too excited" routine. Urrgh.. So into to bed he climbs with me - as if that isn't bad enough the animals saw the open door and thought "RUN RUN RUN THE DOOR IS OPEN!!" so in they came too. 1 dog and 1 cat and 1 son (thank goodness the husband wasn't in bed yet too!)

So the gymnsastics begin... dog chases cat around the bed, son grabs cat to snuggle, cat MEOWS LOUD and doesn't want to be held, dog thinks cat is getting something that dog isn't getting so dog jumps on top of cat and son (his face), son yells "Get Off", mom smacks son and says "sshhh they will settle down if you leave them alone", son steals covers, moms feet are cold and exposed, dog sees feet and starts to lick (is there ANYTHING this dog doesn't think is food?), mom, yells "stop!", son grabs cat to snuggle and it starts all over again...again...again

Mom is EXHAUSTED today.
